Introduction

Hello and Welcome!

Well, after 14 months of planning and preparation, we are finally on our way!  If you are here, you already know that Brad and I are serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for a period of 12 months in the Apia Samoa Mission. As I write this, we are on our flight from SLC to Oahu, where we will stay for a few days before our flight to Apia. We are so grateful for the scores of you who have expressed interest, come out to celebrate with us, and who work so hard to love and support us in this grand adventure! We hope that the experiences and thoughts we share here will help you as you seek a deeper and more meaningful relationship with our Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ.

So, I've been trying to figure out how to do this whole update thing.  In the interest of connecting with as many people as we can, I have decided to try share in different formats (pictures, stories, reels, etc.) at different times and in different social media apps, but put the long form including photos and videos here. Watch for us on Facebook and Instagram, (and maybe even YouTube or TikTok) as we learn and grow on this grand adventure!  We will try to embed as many links to those other posts as we can here so we have a full record in one place.

I thought it might be helpful to give a brief overview of different aspects our mission assignment for those who may be unfamiliar with the process of missions.  Because I am verbose, I think it would be more enjoyable to read in segments.  So, browse through the blogposts at will!  We feel like this story is filled with profound miracles and personal inspiration.  This process has changed our lives and we are so grateful for the blessings that we have been given along the way!

We would love to hear your questions, thoughts, and impressions about what we share.  So, PLEASE, comment or send us an email!

Thanks for your love and support!   Standby for news!
